Collection: Cylinders

Liftgate cylinders are unique to each manufacturer and model.  Key is the precise part number to ensure the proper fit -- bore and stroke to properly rise and lower the platform.  Also important is the hose connection fittings which often times need to be replaced as well.  light duty liftgate may specify a smaller diameter cylinder.   Experience suggests that the slightly larger cylinder diameter with the same stroke may work at time better. 

Complete new replacement cylinders are recommended versus replacement packing kits for old, pitted and worn cylinders.   This will prevent fluid leakage and further damage or non-working.
