Remote Controls


Mobile remote controls to activate the power liftgate gives flexibility in loading and unloading.  Hand held wired remotes come in a number of styles.   Key features may include push buttons, toggle switches, straight cords, retractile cords, weatherproofing and removable plug-ins. 

A remote control replaces a switch assembly for activation of the power unit start solenoid and motor.   3-wire controls are used for a power up/gravity down liftgate.   4-wire controls are used for a power up/power down liftgate.   Retractile curly cords help keep the wire attachment neatly out of the way during operation.   

Experience has proved that wired controls are more durable and long-lasting than often lost or damaged wireless controls.
